| Under the PVC Credit in the Green Building Council of Australia's Green Star rating tool, criteria has been developed to demonstrate Best Environmental Practice (BEP) PVC. In order to earn points under the Credit, PVC pipe, conduit, wire & cable, wall coverings and flooring products must be independently verified as meeting the BEP criteria. To learn more about the PVC Credit best practice guidelines and the verification compliance requirements, review the Verification Assessment Guidance document published by the Green Building Council of Australia in conjunction with the PVC industry. | ||||||||||||||||||
| To assist manufacturers and suppliers of PVC products to demonstrate their products are compliant and to aid recognition of the independently assessed compliant products available in the market, the Vinyl Council of Australia has established a BEP PVC registration system and licence mark. The VCA is the registered owner of this licence trade mark - the BEP PVC mark (see trade mark on left). The BEP PVC mark is awarded to BEP compliant PVC products of manufacturers and suppliers registered in the following Registry upon evidence of the independent assessment of compliance in accordance with the process set out in the PVC Credit and the Verification Assessment Guidance. | ||||||||||||||||||
