The role of a signatory
The role of a signatory - Product Stewardship
| Signatories to the Product Stewardship program (PSP) present any new information and research from their area of expertise for evaluation by the PSP. After a commitment is endorsed, Signatories are required to supply data for analysis and monitoring by the Program's Technical Steering Group (TSG). The data is used to prepare the Program's annual progress reports and to show evidence of meeting the Program’s commitments. The relevance of each commitment to each Signatory varies depending on whether they are a supplier, a converter or an industry association. The type of product produced or supplied may also determine a Signatory’s involvement in some commitments. The TSG, reviews applications from companies and organisations who wish to join the PSP. An application will be handled within 60 days and approval will not be unreasonably withheld or delayed. The name of the new Signatory organisation will be included in the list of Signatories on the Vinyl Council’s website and in the end-of-year reports. Failure to comply with its obligations to the PSP may lead to the removal of a Signatory. Signatory application enquiries: info@pvcproductstewardship.org.au |
